The Bartonville Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of three requests by a potential new business, but postponed its decision on one other request.
Tractor Supply, a nationwide retailer, is proposing a 19,000-square-foot enclosed building with a 17,500-square-foot outdoor display on the northwest corner of Hilltop and FM 407, according to a Bartonville Planning & Zoning Commission meeting agenda and Mayor Bill Scherer.
At the Wednesday P&Z meeting, the commission recommended approval of Items No. 2 (the proposed plat), No. 3 (changing the land use designation from Rural Business District to Rural Services District) and No. 4 (changing the zoning designation from Agriculture District to Rural Services District), but the commission also chose to postpone Item No. 5 (conditional use permit) until its Dec. 5 meeting.
The Bartonville Town Council will still open the public hearing about the proposed store at its meeting on Wednesday.
