The Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce recognized the School of the Month and Student of the Month at its monthly meeting Tuesday at Briairwood Retreat Center in Copper Canyon.
McAuliffe Elementary in Highland Village was named the School of the Month. McAuliffe Principal Jennifer Mattingly and fifth-grader Peyton Scheffler accepted the award on behalf of the campus. The School of the Month Program is sponsored by the Denton Area Teacher Credit Union (DATCU).
Downing Middle School’s Mark Vassar was named the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce/Northstar Bank of Texas Student of the Month.
