The Greater Argyle Area Chamber of Commerce’s women’s division is hosting its 2nd annual leadership event on July 27th.
The Women of Argyle Leaving a Legacy (WALL) presents “Leaders Discovering Strengths, A StrengthsFinders Workshop” from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a chamber mixer at the close of the event.
While this is sponsored by the women’s division of the chamber, any person in the community is welcome to sign-up and attend. The workshop will be held at the Robson Ranch Clubhouse.
The day will begin with a StrengthsFinders workshop in which participants will learn more about their personal Strengths. Cindy Mitchell, a Gallup-certified Strengths coach will lead the workshop.
After registering for the workshop, each participant will receive a code to take the assessment questionnaire online. Participants will bring their personalized Top 5 Strengths report to the workshop to understand their “Superpowers.”
Lunch is included in the workshop and will be provided at the Wildhorse Grill.
After lunch, a panel discussion will be moderated by the Rev. Sarah Roberts of Argyle United Methodist Church. Panelists will include women leaders in several unique and non-traditional roles and will be sharing their experiences.
The event concludes with a chamber-wide mixer at 4 p.m. at the Grill. All are invited to sign up on the Greater Argyle Area’s chamber website at argylechamber.org.
The early bird pricing of $50 for chamber members and $65 for non-members ends June 30.
