The community is invited to Texas Roadhouse in Flower Mound on Thursday evening for a fundraiser supporting Special Olympics Texas.
Members of the Flower Mound Police Department will participate in the annual “Tip a Cop” fundraiser from 5-9 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse, 3811 Long Prairie Road. Police officers will be working as servers at the restaurant and collecting donations for Special Olympics Texas.
“Tip a Cop” is a national campaign that provides awareness and support to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All donations will go toward sports training and athletic competitions for Special Olympics Texas, according to FMPD.
