The town of Flower Mound is looking into possibly expanding and renovating the Community Activity Center, and it’s asking residents for input.
Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture is working with the town on a feasibility study on improving the CAC, according to a town news release. An interactive public input meeting will be held at the CAC, 1200 Gerault Road, on Jan. 30, from 6:30-8 p.m.
“We want to hear what indoor recreation trends are important to you and what recommendations you have for improving the existing CAC,” the town said in a statement.
Community members will also be able to provide feedback in an online survey that will be available from Jan. 30 until March 1. Once the survey is live, you’ll be able to find it at www.flower-mound.com/parks. Input gathered through these two forums will be used in the feasibility study, which will provide the town with in-depth programming, phasing, conceptual design ideas, a business plan, 3D drawings and cost estimates, according to the news release.
