One person was extricated from their vehicle and flown to the hospital after a major crash near Justin on Thursday.

Justin Fire Chief Matthew Mitchell said the crash was reported about 11:30 a.m. at FM 156 and Sam Reynolds Road, south of Justin. A tractor-trailer, Ford Mustang and pickup towing a livestock trailer were involved.

The driver of the pickup had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken by air ambulance to a Denton hospital for treatment. No one else was transported for injuries, Mitchell said.
