Registration has just opened for Flower Mound’s 16th annual Dorothy’s Dash 5K and Kids K.
The event honors former Flower Mound employee, Dorothy Walkup, who lost her battle with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004, and raises funds to combat the disease, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound. This year’s Dorothy’s Dash is scheduled for the morning of Nov. 9 at Flower Mound High School, 3411 Peters Colony Road.
Registration is now open for all races here, where you can also find information on the day’s schedule, race routes, volunteer opportunities and awards that will be given out in a variety of age categories. Registration will remain open until Nov. 8, according to the town.
