The Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Highland Village will close permanently this weekend.
The sandwich shop, which has been located in the northeast end of The Shops at Highland Village since the mall opened in 2007, will close for good on Sunday. The reason for the closure was not immediately known.
The shopping center will announce a replacement restaurant soon.
The nationwide sandwich chain has two other locations in Denton County, one in Denton and one in Lewisville.
