The town of Flower Mound invited the community to submit a photo and bio of a fallen hero to be recognized in a Wall of Honor during the town’s Memorial Day ceremony.

The event will be held on Memorial Day, May 27 at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center, located at 2701 West Windsor Drive. The ceremony will feature keynote speakers from the military and local leaders, a Color Guard presentation and patriotic music, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound. Cake and punch will be served after the ceremony.

The town is also asking residents to submit a picture and bio of a fallen hero to be recognized during the event and added to a special Wall of Honor, which will be displayed during the event and displayed inside the Senior Center for two weeks.

To submit a fallen American hero to be featured on the Wall of Honor, complete the online form by May 13. Submissions to the Wall of Honor from previous years will automatically be displayed once again at this year’s event. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation Division at 972-874-6300.
