The Argyle- and Northlake-area community celebrated one of its own Saturday with a parade in honor of a local woman who recently competed in the Special Olympics World Games and brought home a bronze medal.
Last month, former Argyle ISD student Reyna Taylor competed in Equestrian events in the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, claiming the bronze medal in English Equitation. She also competed in Dressage — coming in sixth place — as well as English Working Trails.
The town of Argyle declared Saturday “Reyna Taylor Day” in Argyle, and on Saturday morning, lots of community members came together in the Harvest neighborhood for a parade to celebrate Taylor’s achievements.
