The Flower Mound Fire Department extinguished a fire in a house and pickup truck Friday morning.

A passerby or neighbor reported the fire at 11:15 a.m. in the 3800 block of North Magnolia Court, according to FMFD spokesman Brandon Barth. Firefighters responded and found that the garage was on fire, as was the pickup parked in the driveway.

Firefighters quickly doused the fire, which caused so much damage to the home that it was ruled uninhabitable, Barth said.

No one was injured in the fire.

Fire investigators determined that the fire originated in the pickup and spread to the house, but it was not immediately known how that fire started, Barth said.
