Helicopter being used in Flower Mound on Friday

Hearing a helicopter, especially for a long time, in the Flower Mound area often sparks many residents’ questions about what is going on. Friday, a helicopter will be hovering over one part of town for several hours, but it’s nothing to worry about.

The town of Flower Mound gave residents a heads up on social media Friday morning that a 5 State Helicopter would be flying in the area of 1001 Lakeside Parkway from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday to lift construction materials onto a roof.
