See progress on new Flower Mound Town Hall in time lapse video

As construction of the new Flower Mound Town Hall hits the one-year mark, residents can watch the progress in a 29-second time lapse video.

The town of Flower Mound shared on its Facebook page recently an update on the under-construction Town Hall building, which broke ground in late June 2017 and is nearing completion. The time lapse video, which can be found here, condenses one year’s progress into less than 30 seconds.

The $15-million project is located on the same property as the current Town Hall, in the southeast corner of FM 1171 and Morriss Road. The new bigger building will be able to house all town staff. Currently, Environmental Services, Facilities Management, CIP/Construction Plan Management and Development Services staff work in the Atrium because Town Hall is full.

Molly Fox, a town spokeswoman, said Town Hall staff expect to move into the new building in September or October. Once they move in, the current Town Hall building will be demolished to expand parking, and once that is done, staff stationed at the Atrium will move in to the new Town Hall in March.
