Southern Denton County residents can expect their local government offices to be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays, as well as trash and recycling pickup changes.
Argyle
Town of Argyle offices will be closed Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan. 1. Trash and recycling will be delayed one day each week.
Bartonville
Town of Bartonville offices will be closed Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan. 1. Trash and recycling will be collected on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
Copper Canyon
Town offices will be closed Dec. 25-26 and Dec. 29 and Jan. 1. Trash pickup will be delayed until Wednesday of each week.
Double Oak Town Hall offices will be closed Dec. 22 and Dec. 25. Town Hall will close at noon on Dec. 28 and will be closed Dec. 29 and Jan. 1. Trash and recycling collection will be on Dec. 30 and Jan. 6
Flower Mound
For Christmas, all town offices, the Municipal Court, the Senior Center and Animal Adoption Center will be closed Dec. 25-26. The Flower Mound Public Library will be closed Dec. 24-26. The Community Activity Center will be closed Dec. 24-25, and open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 26. Trash/recycling/bulk collection will be delayed by one day during the week of Christmas, with all collection being completed on Dec. 30.
For the New Year holiday, all town offices, the Municipal Court, the Senior Center and Animal Adoption Center will be closed on Jan. 1. The Flower Mound Public Library will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The Community Activity Center will be open on Dec. 31 from 1-5 p.m., and closed Jan. 1. There will be no delay in trash/recycle/bulk collection the week of New Year’s.
Highland Village
All city offices will be closed on Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan. 1 in observance of the holidays.
Waste Management commercial and residential operations in Highland Village will experience a service delay of one day for the week of Christmas and week of New Year’s. If your pickup is typically on Monday, it will be picked up Tuesday, and so on. Normal schedules will resume on Jan. 8.
Lantana
Trash and recycling will be delayed one day each week.
Northlake
Town offices will be closed Dec. 25-26 and Jan. 1. Northlake residents’ trash and recycling pickup will be delayed until Thursday the weeks of Christmas and New Year. On Jan. 10, it will return to its normal schedule.
