Lantana Development Watch

Lantana had 3,396 occupied homes as of December 31 with an estimated population of 11,037. There were 112 new home sales year-to-date as of November 30, with the average new home selling for $444,627 or $135.07 per square foot.

There were 2,029 single-family building permits issued in Fresh Water Supply District 6 and 1,485 permits issued in Fresh Water Supply District 7 through November 2016, for a total of 3,514 permits.

Model homes are under construction in the 90 lot Reata subdivision north of Tanner Parkway adjacent to golf hole 16. Highland Homes’ model is open and CalAtlantic should complete their model home this month.

The Barrington Addition, located at the north end of Lantana Trail adjacent to the roundabout is nearly complete. The first phase will consist of 119 lots and Highland Homes will be the homebuilder.

The final phase of the Garner subdivision along Copper Canyon Road should be completed in March. There will be 82 lots and CalAtlantic will be the homebuilder.

Grading operations are expected to begin soon on the 10-acre site of Lantana Town Center Phase II across FM 407 from Kroger. Phase II consists of seven buildings containing 74,473 square-feet of retail and restaurant space. Great Clips, Casa Mia Mexican Restaurant and a nail salon have signed leases and are expected to open in early 2018.
