With fall right around the corner, it’s time to start defending against the seasonal influenza viruses.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, the most important step in preventing the flu is to get vaccinated each year.
The Flower Mound Senior Center will host flu shot clinics, open to all residents this Thursday, September 22, from 5:30 to 7 p.m, and Tuesday, October 11, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The flu shot is free with Medicare, or $20 for those without Medicare. Bring your ID and copy of your insurance card.
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. To schedule your appointment call the Senior Center Courtesy Desk at 972.874.6110.
