The Summer Music Series at The Shops at Lakeside DFW in Flower Mound will welcome 21-year-old Sebastian Valenzuela to the stage this Friday, from 7-9 p.m.
Valenzuela was scheduled to appear on August 19, but weather cancelled that performance. This Friday’s forecast looks promising for a pleasant evening outdoors.
“Sebastian is back by popular demand,” explained Mercy Little, proprietor of In The Box Pack ’N Ship who doubles as entertainment coordinator and on-site manager for the music series.
“In July,” she said, “Sebastian had young and old up dancing. Everybody loved him. The audience even coaxed him to play several encores.”
Valenzuela’s repertoire includes a lively mix of classic and contemporary rock ’n roll: from Billy Joel, Toto, and The Beatles to Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and Bruno Mars.
The So-Cal Tacos food truck will be on site for the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or portable chairs.
Officials with The Shops at Lakeside have indicated the free music on the plaza will continue on Friday nights.
The Summer Music Series will be renamed in the near future.
