Trust me – I know. It’s prime catering season what with graduation parties, holiday gatherings, and – of course- wedding season. And when you’re faced with the need to have an event catered, it’s sometimes hard to know where to start!
So, this week we’d like to highlight a catering company we’ve used in the past for our own events –Seven Loaves Catering & Events in Highland Village.
Seven Loaves is owned and operated by locals (and native Texans) Phillip and Leslie Smithwick, who first started catering in 2001 when they set it up as a part-time business while Phillip was still working as a private chef to high-end clients in Highland Park. Once the catering business really began to take off, Phillip left his full-time career to run the business full time.
Phillip and Leslie named their company Seven Loaves to express their desire to “feed the multitudes,” which they’ve successfully been doing for several years now!
They make the process so easy. Planning events is stressful as it is, so it’s always nice to know that you catering needs are in good hands with Seven Loaves. They have always been extremely helpful in helping us determine the best items to prepare to meet our needs and our budget! They have the ability to take the vision you have in mind and create something wonderful that doesn’t have to break the bank.
And in addition to their catering services, Seven Loaves is also equipped to help with delivery and setup, bartending, service staff, rentals, music/entertainment and more!
So, if you’ve got an event on the calendar and you’re in need of some serious catering help, we’d definitely encourage you to give Seven Loaves a call and ask them to help with your needs – whether it’s for pass hors d’oeuvres, a buffet, or a sit-down dinner.
And when you do give them a call (because I know you will), be sure to let them know that you heard about them and their incredible service from Jay Marks!
