The Argyle baseball team crushed Sanger in the first game of the best of three series on Friday night by a score of 18-1.
The Eagles were led by pitcher Connor Mushinski, who earned the victory in the game.
Defensively, catcher Austin King threw out two baserunners trying to steal.
Argyle defeated Sanger twice in district, by scores of 4-0 and 3-1 to help win the district 9-4A championship.
The Eagles play Sanger in the second game of the regional quarterfinal matchup at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Argyle.
