An active weather pattern will continue for much of this week in Denton County that will result in continued chances of showers and thunderstorms.
The best chance for the possibility of severe thunderstorms is on Tuesday, producing hail and damaging winds. Heavy rain and the potential for flooding will exist Tuesday through Thursday.
Scattered thunderstorms are possible on Monday. Some storms could become strong to severe with large hail being the main threat.
Strong to severe storms are likely on Tuesday ahead of an advancing cold front. Depending on the speed and timing of the front, some areas could receive excessive rainfall leading to localized flooding.
