Waves of heavy rain continue to roll through southern Denton County, resulting in flooding of low lying areas.
Some areas have picked up 2 inches of rain as of Tuesday night and much more is on the way.
Inclement weather conditions prompted Flower Mound’s Emergency Management Office to sound the town’s outdoor warning sirens due to high winds on Tuesday morning; this is only the third time this has happened in the past two years.
