Council to consider name for dog park

Fence work is underway at the site of the Flower Mound dog park, currently under construction. Work behind the scenes is also in full swing, as the PALS (Parks Arts and Library Services) Board recently reviewed 162 resident submissions for the park’s name. After careful consideration, the Board recommended naming the dog park the “Hound Mound at Heritage Park” and at Monday night’s Town Council meeting, council members will consider that recommendation. The park, located on Garden Ridge Boulevard between Spinks Road and FM 3040, is expected to open in November. Read more about the new dog park here.
