Ohhh it’s Thursday! Here are five things to know today:

• It’s National Cheese Day! Who knows where this observance originated, but whoever needs a reason to celebrate cheese?

• Looking for cheap gasoline? As of last evening, Tom Thumb on Cross Timbers Road and Bruton Orand Blvd. had the best price at $2.49 if you pay in cash.

• A neighbor in the Simmons/McKamy area of Flower Mound reported a pack of coyotes very close to her fence the other day. Don’t forget, these critters don’t tend to play nice with your pet dog or cat.

• NOAA is predicting another gorgeous day today! The high should be about 90 degrees with mostly sunny skies.

• Carter Blood Care is accepting donations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Hand and Stone Flower Mound. There are some neat incentives too if you participate today!
