In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, Keller Williams Realty in Flower Mound is sponsoring a 5k run this Saturday to raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County (CACDC).
Race day registration, t-shirt and packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m., a 1K fun run race begins at 8 a.m., and the 5K run commences at 9 a.m. An awards ceremony and after party with live music, bounce house, face painting and prizes will follow at 10 a.m.
Awards will be given to overall and master male and female finishers and the top three finishers in each category.
Registration through Thursday is $20 for ages 12 and under and $30 for ages 13 and older. Race day registration is $35 for all ages. Register online at www.kellerwilliams5k.com. Early packet pick-up is available at Run On! in Flower Mound March 18-20. (www.runtexas.com)
