Sixteen Flower Mound residents threw their hat into the ring to sit in Tom Hayden’s vacant council seat.
Hayden had one year left on his two-year term in Place 5 when he was elected mayor this month.
Town council members will choose from literally an A-Z list of names, including community leaders, business owners and two former council members. Here are the applicants:

The council is expected to conduct interviews with the applicants next Tuesday.
