Flower Mound native featured on rapper's home makeover show

Stephan Sardone, owner of Dallas-based Tile Fast, was recently featured on the television show “VIP: Ice My House,” hosted by 1990’s rapper Vanilla Ice on DIY Network.

The special, filmed last summer in the Preston Hollow area of Dallas, details the “Rock-Star Renovation” of a home owned by the winners of DIY’s inaugural “Ice My House” contest.

Sardone worked alongside Rob Van Winkle, aka Vanilla Ice, to transform an unlivable guest house – selected out of thousands of video entries – using a $30,000 budget.

Born and raised in Flower Mound, Sardone has been in the renovation business for 10 years.

Tile Fast was named Lewisville/Flower Mound’s Best Remodeler in 2011, was voted #1 in the Reader’s Choice Award 2011 and is a 2012 sponsor of the Dallas Modern Home Tour.

The company also volunteers with Footwasher Ministries, providing elderly, disabled, or ill homeowners with free exterior home renovations to avoid city code compliance fines and fees.

Stephan is the son of Debbie Sardone, owner of Buckets and Bows Maid Services and founder of the Cleaning For A Reason Foundation.
