Dr. John S. Baen, a Real Estate Professor at the University of North Texas, will be the featured speaker at the Argyle Chamber of Commerce lunch meeting this Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Denton Country Club.
A practicing commercial real estate broker, Certified Real Estate Appraiser, Certified Right-of-Way Agent, author and expert witness/consultant, Dr. Baen has published over 70 articles and five books.
He has held positions, lectures, and delivered academic and industry speeches not only in the United States but also in New Zeland, Australia, the United Kingdom, Austria, Sweden, and South Africa.
Dr. Baen will be speaking to about what the next five years is going hold for businesses. The meeting is open to the public.

Fourth Annual Clay Shoot this month
The Argyle Chamber of Commerce will hold it’s fourth annual Sporting Clay Shoot on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds at 7282 N. FM 51, Slidell, TX 76267. Shotgun start is at 10 a.m.
The annual event raises money for the Argyle Chamber Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to Argyle and Liberty Christian High School students.
