Fans attending Friday night football games in Flower Mound this fall will be treated to free Fuzzy’s Tacos at several pre-game tailgate parties sponsored by Kwik Kar Lube & Auto Repair and Kwik Kar Wash of Flower Mound.
During halftime, those same fans will cheer on their favorite high school seniors in a dot race to win a $250 college scholarship, also sponsored by Kwik Kar.
As if that wasn’t enough, everyone in the stands will have a chance at walking out with a $10 coupon good for a car wash or oil change.
Kwik Kar of Flower Mound, located at FM 3040 and Flower Mound Road, is once again a major sponsor of both the Flower Mound Jaguars and Marcus Marauders in 2011.
The company will bring its pre-game tailgate tent to Jaguars home games on Sept. 23 (vs. Hebron) and Oct. 14 (vs. Lewisville).
Tailgating at Marauders home games will be on Sept. 30 for the Mound Showdown with the Jags and Oct. 21 (vs. Allen).
All tailgate parties will run from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Kwik Kar Scholarship Races will be held at every home game for both teams. One senior at each game will earn a $250 scholarship to the college of their choice.
“The football programs are an integral part of the social fabric here in Flower Mound, and we want to do everything we can to support the students and their families,” said Bill Mitchell, owner of Kwik Kar of Flower Mound. “We have championed the schools in our area for years, and we think it’s always better if you can add a little fun and fellowship along the way.”
Kwik Kar is a long-time supporter of the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF). The company is planning auto safety programs, discounted car washes and other special events benefiting LEF in the weeks ahead.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is generously providing all the complimentary food in Kwik Kar’s pre-game tents this season.
