Studio B presents 'Annie'

Studio B Performing Arts Center in Highland Village along with sponsor Texas Health Presbyterian Flower Mound will present Annie, Jr. April 29-May 8.

The beloved musical about orphan Annie, Miss Hannigan and Daddy Warbucks runs weekends at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays.
The show features Savannah Boyd, a  sixth grader at Briarhill Middle School as Annie, Ryan McDearmont, a sophomore at Marcus High School as Oliver Warbucks, Juliana Adame, a junior at Marcus High School as Miss Hannigan and Sid Tanner, a senior at Lewisville High School as Rooster Hannigan.

Other cast members include: Jacy Gehlsen, Allie Micaletti, Kaitlyn McDearmont, Haidyn Sokoloski, Lauren Meece, Julia Young, Callia Ortega, Delaney Watts, Cora Cravey, Grace Carver, Daniela Darley, Carlie Marcotte, Ethan Hoisington, Alexa Domzalski, Dana Lauchner, Molly Webber, Lauren Foutch, Harrison Rodi, Jackie Kranis, Sam Stewart, Abbey Killin, Miranda Hamilton, Angie Cisneros, Lizzie Buckman and a special cameo appearance by Highland Village Mayor, Dr. Scott McDearmont as President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The show is directed by Melody Jones.
Annie Jr. is a shortened version of the Broadway hit that includes all the favorite and classic songs including “Maybe”, “Tomorrow”, “It’s the Hard Knock Life”, “Little Girls”, “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”, “Easy Street” and “I Think I’m Gonna Like it Here”. Cast members have spent five weeks rehearsing for the show.
