Lantana Fresh Water Supply District #6 board members planted a tree donated by Gold Landscaping on Stacee Ln. Saturday at the start of Lantana’s 1st Annual Earth Day Event.
The event included a household hazardous waste collection by the Upper Trinity Regional Water District, hike and bike trail cleanup, tree giveaway sponsored by Gold Landscaping, electronic waste collection by Computer Crushers, newspaper, magazine, and phone book collection for the E.P. Rayzor Environmental Club and kid-friendly environmental presentations and giveaways sponsored by Waste Management and CoServ.
