A man died Tuesday night after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on FM 407, police said.
The motorcyclist, identified as 30-year-old Zak Allan Marr, was riding westbound on Justin Road around 8 p.m. when he struck a vehicle turning from Jernigan Road onto Justin Road, according to the Flower Mound Police Department. Marr was pronounced dead at the scene.
Marr was a 2014 graduate of Marcus High School in Flower Mound, according to his social media profile.
The occupants of the vehicle were transported for evaluation, but officials said they sustained no significant injuries.
First responders arrived on the scene and shut the road down for several hours while accident investigators reviewed what had happened.
The roadway was reopened early Wednesday morning.
