A section of Highland Village Road is closed Wednesday morning because of a gas leak, according to the Highland Village Police Department.
Police have closed the road at Village Estates Drive, just north of FM 407, as crews are responding to fix the leak and get the road reopened.
Police recommend drivers avoid the area. They will be detoured onto side streets Nowlin Drive and Canyon Creek Drive.
