November 15
8:36 a.m. 200 blk. Valley View Trl. – Suspicious Activity – A concerned citizen reported suspicious activity in their neighborhood. Upon arrival the officer determined that it was a survey crew with the wrong address on their paperwork.
2:35 p.m. 300 blk. Oakview Dr. – Alarm – Officer responded to an alarm call and found the door open. Contact was made with the homeowner and the house was then secured. No crime was detected.
5:42 p.m. 100 blk. High Oaks Dr. – Animal Complaint – Officer responded to an aggressive dog complaint. Dog was gone upon officer arrival.
November 17
5:14 p.m. 100 blk. Lake Trail Dr. – Suspicious Vehicle – Officer responded to a suspicious vehicle call and made contact with the driver.
6:12 p.m. 100 blk. Tangle Wood Ln. – Suspicious Vehicle – Concerned resident reported a suspicious vehicle which was gone upon officer arrival.
November 18
8:58 a.m. 200 blk. Oak Trail – Suspicious Vehicle – A citizen reported an unknown white truck in their neighborhood. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver was a subcontractor for AT&T and Verizon and he was waiting for instructions on the day’s work.
6:09 p.m. 100 blk. Woodland Trail N. – Suspicious Vehicle – A resident reported a suspicious vehicle. Vehicle was gone upon officer arrival.
November 19
6:28 a.m. 8900 blk. Crockett Drive, Lantana – Assist Agency – Assisted Sheriff’s Department on an alarm call. Contact was made with residents of the house and everything was okay.
6:26 p.m. 6100 blk. Plantation – Suspicious Vehicle – Vehicle was gone upon officer arrival.
November 20
2:19 p.m. 300 blk. Cedar Crest Ln. – Alarm – Accidental activation upon opening the garage door.
November 21
2:08 a.m. 100 blk. Twin Lakes Dr. – Fireworks – A resident reported five juvenile males running around the area discharging fireworks. Officer stayed on scene but was unable to locate the juveniles.
10:50 a.m. 1000 blk. Metalmark Ct., Lantana – Assist Agency –
Double Oak Officer was dispatched to assist a Denton County Sheriff’s Deputy with searching an open residence.
3:30 p.m. 100 blk. Oak Trail Dr. – Solicitor Complaint – Resident reported solicitor without a permit. Officer contacted the solicitor and explained the Town of Double Oak ordinances and gave the subject a courtesy ride out of the neighborhood.
