DOWC Auction Nov. 12
Don’t miss this year’s Double Oak Women’s Club Auction on Tuesday, November 12th from 7-10 p.m. at Town Hall, our biggest fundraiser of the year! ALL PROCEEDS go to our Volunteer Fire Department whose members so generously serve our town as well as the surrounding community. The event is open to the public so bring your friends and neighbors!
Donations for the event can be arts and crafts (homemade or purchased new), specialty baked goods, tickets to popular sporting events, vacation accommodations, collectors’ items, gift baskets, gift certificates for special services – or anything new that will encourage lots of generous bidding as we raise funds for our wonderful Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department.
If you have items to donate, please drop them off with any board member before Nov.12th, at Town Hall on Sunday the 10th between 12–5 p.m., or Monday the 11th between noon and 5 p.m.– the earlier the better, as we need to catalogue every item prior to the auction which begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., if you would like to preview the items prior to the auction. We will be accepting cash, checks and credit cards for this event.
We thank you in advance for always supporting this great event. If you have questions or would like to donate, please contact Community Service Chairwomen Stephanie Gorman (s[email protected]) or Bonnie Morrow ([email protected]).
