Police searching for suspect throwing objects at cars in Argyle

Once example of damage to a vehicle that occurred on Friday night in Argyle.

Police are looking for the culprit after several cars were damaged by thrown objects on Friday night near Lantana.

According to the Denton County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 9:27 p.m. Friday, deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Hickory Hill Rd. for a criminal mischief call. Dispatch advised multiple motorists were calling in advising a black or blue Ford Mustang or Dodge Charger was driving the area with the occupant or occupants throwing items, possibly bottles, at passing vehicles.

Deputies responded to the area and spoke with four victims. Three vehicles sustained minor damage, including two damaged windshields and a damaged headlight. The fourth vehicle received heavy damage to its hood.
