The Cross Timbers Water Supply Corporation is seeking volunteers to apply for an open board position.
CTWSC received only one application for the two open board positions expiring this month, so the remaining open board position is will be filled by appointment, according to a news release from the town of Bartonville. The board is looking to supplement its current composition with a member with experience in the following areas: geologist, engineer, chemist, biologist or water utility experience.
This is a volunteer position with a three-year term and monthly board meeting attendance is required. The board usually meets the second or third Monday of each month. To be eligible to serve, the board member must be a member of Cross Timbers Water Supply Corporation and receiving water from the Corporation, must be 18 years of age, must have the right to vote and must not have been finally convicted of a felony.
The CTWSC provides water service to much of the towns of Bartonville, Copper Canyon and Double Oak, as well as parts of Flower Mound, Highland Village and unincorporated Tarrant County.
