Flower Mound Police Blotter

The following was compiled from Flower Mound Police Department incident and arrest reports:

On April 1 at 2:01 a.m., a 31-year-old man was arrested in the 500 block of Flower Mound Road on a warrant out of Dallas County for a third-degree felony charge of possession of a deadly weapon in a penal institution.

On April 3 at 5:27 p.m., two people reported someone broke into a vehicle in the 3800 block of Long Prairie Road and stole two purses valued $5,500, jewelry valued $3,000, electronics valued $1,000 and other items valued $925. The suspect(s) also caused $500 in damage to the vehicle.

On April 6 at 6:50 p.m., a resident in the 5100 block of Timberland Parkway reported the theft of $1,700 in cash.

On April 8 at 9:34 p.m., a 60-year-old man was arrested on Cross Timbers Road on a warrant out of Fort Worth for a second-degree felony charge of theft of $30,000 to $150,000 from an elderly person.

On April 12 at 8:51 p.m., a 57-year-old man was arrested in the 3600 block of Morriss Road on suspicion of DWI. It was at least his third such arrest, escalating the charge to a third-degree felony.

On April 17 at 12:34 p.m., a woman reported that someone broke into her vehicle in the 1200 block of Garden Ridge Boulevard, damaging her vehicle and stealing items valued more than $1,900.

On April 18 at 2:24 p.m., a woman reported that someone stole her $10,000 bracelet from the 2300 block of Santa Monica Street.

On April 22 at 3:39 p.m., a woman reported that someone vandalized her vehicle in the 1100 block of Lexington Avenue, causing $500 in damage.

On April 25 at 11:15 a.m., a man in the 600 block of Parker Square Road reported the theft of property valued $2,000.

On April 26 at 12:54 p.m., a woman reported impersonation fraud and the theft of $1,900 from the 5000 block of Forest Hill Drive.

On April 26 at 11:05 p.m., a 52-year-old man was arrested in the 6500 block of Oak Knoll Road on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony.

On April 27 at 10:35 a.m., a company reported $2,100 in damage had been caused in the 2700 block of Lakeside Parkway.

On April 29 at 8:59 a.m., a man reported the theft of property valued $1,500 from the 2400 block of Old Hickory Lane.

On April 29 at 10:50 a.m., a man reported the theft of a firearm from a vehicle in the 3500 block of Nandina Drive.

On April 30 at 2:05 a.m., an 18-year-old woman was arrested in the 500 block of Outlook Cove on a second-degree felony warrant for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance out of Lewisville.

On May 4 at 11 a.m., the Target store at 5959 Long Prairie Road reported the theft of three smart watches valued about $1,500.

On May 6 at 5:58 p.m., a resident in the 1800 block of Buckeye Drive reported that someone broke into his vehicle and stole items valued more than $1,800.

On May 8 at 1:24 p.m., a resident in the 2600 block of Surrey Woods Road reported the theft of $1,000 in cash.

On May 10 at 8:51 p.m., a resident in the 1900 block of Buckeye Drive reported that someone broke into his home and stole a $400 handgun.

On May 15 at 8:27 p.m., a resident in the 4700 block of Shiloh Road reported the theft of two handguns and a tool valued $2,000.

On May 18 at 6:08 a.m., multiple businesses reported vandalism causing nearly $6,000 in damage and the theft of equipment valued nearly $15,000 from the 4900 block of Cross Timbers Road.

On May 18 at 1:03 p.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested on East McKinney Street in Denton by Flower Mound police on suspicion of fraudulent use/possession of identifying information, a second-degree felony, possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor, and three warrants for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, each state jail felonies.

On May 18 at 9:46 p.m., the Tom Thumb grocery store at 745 Cross Timbers Road reported the theft of wine valued $444.

On May 20 at 11:48 a.m., a man reported the theft of equipment valued $1,500 from the 800 block of Long Prairie Road.

On May 22 at 3:27 a.m., a 21-year-old woman from El Salvador was arrested in the 3300 block of Morriss Road on suspicion of DWI and was placed on ICE hold.

On May 23 at 8:04 a.m., a company reported the theft of property valued more than $2,350 from the 1400 block of Hilliard Drive.

On May 23 at 8:30 a.m., a company reported the theft of property valued nearly $22,000 from the 800 block of Lakeside Parkway.

On May 23 at 11:03 a.m., a resident in the 4000 block of South Broadway Avenue reported the theft of $2,100 in cash.
