The Highland Village Lions Foundation recently donated money for two shade structures at the Unity Park Dog Park in Highland Village.
The proceeds raised through the Highland Village Lions Balloon Festival are used to support local nonprofits and special Highland Village parks projects, according to a city news release. The organization recently presented the Parks and Recreation department with a check to shade covers, which will be ordered and installed in the next two to four months.
