The town of Flower Mound said in a news release Thursday that construction on FM 2499 will cause lane closures and delays during the day Friday.
From 9 a.m. to about noon, construction crews will close one northbound lane at the Gerault flyover, according to the news release. After that, the southbound lanes in the same area will be reduced to one lane until about 3 p.m.
During that time, crews will be moving heavy equipment, concrete barricades and striping lanes, the news release said. Workers may also need to stop traffic for short periods of time while heavy equipment is being moved.
“Please expect delays during this time,” the news release said. “Thank you, in advance, for your patience.”
