Seniors in Motion and Seniors in Motion Auxiliary will host a unique culinary experience in Flower Mound later this month.
Four local professional chefs will compete by demonstrating and preparing their best dishes for audience members to sample and vote for their favorite, according to Flower Mound Parks and Recreation. The chef with the most votes will be crowned the Elite Chef.
The Elite Chef competition is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. on Jan. 25 at the Flower Mound Senior Center, 2701 West Windsor Drive. The event is open to residents and non-residents of Flower Mound who are 50 years old or older. It costs $20 per person, which includes appetizers, four tasting dishes and beverages. All proceeds will benefit the SIM program.
