The town of Flower Mound will host three flu shot clinics over the next month.

Flu season comes when the weather changes this fall, and according to the Centers for Disease Control, the most important step in preventing the flu is to get vaccinated each year, said a town news release.

The Flower Mound Senior Center will host three flu shot clinics, open to all residents, not just Seniors In Motion members:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 12 from 9:30 – 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 28 from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 9:30 – 11 a.m.

The flu shot is free with Medicare, or $20 for those without Medicare. Bring your ID and copy of your insurance card. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.

To schedule your appointment, call the Senior Center Courtesy Desk at 972-874-6110.
