The Flower Mound Police Department is offering a service Saturday that could potentially help authorities in their search for a missing child.
The department is offering free digital child ID kids for any residents who want FMPD to have as much information about their child as possible in the event that the child goes missing.
Stop by with your child(ren) between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road to get the free digital child ID kit, which includes your child’s name, address, birthdate and any medical conditions. A photo and fingerprints will be taken on site. Children as young as infants can have ID kits made.
“If ever needed, this important tool will give authorities vital information to assist their efforts to locate a missing child,” said a police department social media post.
