“Tip a Cop” in Flower Mound next week to help with a fundraiser for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Flower Mound police officers will be assisting servers at Texas Roadhouse, 3811 Long Prairie Road, from 5-10 p.m. on July 27 to support the Texas Law Enforcement Torch Run division of Special Olympics Texas, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound.
“Tip a Cop” is a national campaign that provide awareness and support for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All donations will go toward sports training and athletic competitions for Special Olympics Texas, according to the news release.
