Double Oak Police warn of garage burglary

Derrick Watson, Double Oak Police Chief, issued the following Crime Alert:

On Thursday, June 8, a resident in the 100 block of Thornhill Circle reported that their garage had been entered and two vehicles had been burglarized.

Further investigation revealed that sometime between Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning an unknown person, or persons, had entered an open garage without permission and removed a laptop from one unlocked vehicle and a cellphone from another unlocked vehicle.

This offense is currently under investigation.
