Flower Mound Library patrons now have a way to pick up their books, videos and more from the comfort of their car.
The Library recently opened a window for drive-through pick-up service. The window is located on the east side of the building at 3030 Broadmoor Ln. and shares a lane with the book drop.
The drive-through window is open Monday through Wednesday, from 2 to 7 p.m., and Thursday and Friday, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
To use the service, library patrons are invited to place items on hold through the online library catalog, and wait for a confirmation email indicating the requested items are ready to be picked up. Then, simply call the Library at 972-874-6200 to schedule a pick-up time at least one hour in advance.
Remember to bring the Library card used to place the items on hold to present to staff when picking up.
Library staff is unable to accept payment of fees, or handle any transactions other than checkout of held items at the drive-through window.
