Can you believe it’s already September 30th? Before we know it, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here, which means it’s time to start thinking about your catering plans for all those holiday functions!
When it comes to our catering needs, we often rely on Swirl Bakery, a Flower Mound institution, to help us out. Whether we’re in need of a cake for a birthday party, a sandwich platter for the office, or a full spread of items for an event, Swirl Bakery is always able to offer their assistance. In fact, today we were able to call in a favor and they put together a sandwich and fruit platter in just an hour for us to take to one of our partner’s office – so we are especially grateful for them today!
Chris Norwood has been in business in Flower Mound for 14 years, and has been the owner of Swirl Bakery since 2007. Over the last decade, Chris has built a solid reputation in the area and has established fantastic relationships with his loyal customers. I always love stopping in for lunch because the whole restaurant is buzzing with activity – co-workers and friends all grabbing a meal together.
Chris takes great pride in his menu which includes many items that are made from scratch daily in the restaurant. One of our all-time favorite items is their famous Sunday Company Chicken Salad made with walnuts, grapes and apples. And I also have to say that their Eggs Benedict are the best in town in my opinion!
Swirl Bakery is also constantly looking for opportunities to give back to the community. Chris is highly involved as a Rotarian. He also caters for the Flower Mound Senior Center and has been known to donate food to various local clubs and charities.
