Mutis earns rank of Eagle Scout

Cameron Mutis, 17, of Lantana achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at his Board of Review on February 24, 2016.

For his project, Cameron made improvements to the Ian Key Prayer Garden at Liberty Christian School in Argyle by adding a stone pathway leading to a sitting area where he installed a cross and landscaping, making it a peaceful place for people to come sit and pray.

Cameron is a junior at Liberty where he is a Section Leader in Choir and Second Year All State Singer, a Middle School Mentor, and member of the LCS Solar Car Team that recently competed in the World Solar Challenge in Australia.

Cameron is a member of Troop 65 in Denton. He is the son of Cesar and Leigh Ann Mutis.
