The Marcus boys soccer team advanced to the regional finals on Friday night with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Arlington, in which Marcus scored with just 31 seconds left in regulation.
Hank Steinhafel scored the first goal of the game for the Marauders, and Trace Marshall sewed up the victory late. Both goals in the game were unassisted.
Marcus will play the winner of the Coppell/El Paso Eastwood game at noon Saturday at the Scharbauer Complex in Midland.
