The Marcus boys soccer team advanced to the regional quarterfinals and will face a familiar foe after a 4-1 victory on Friday over Waco Midway.
Danny Blaney got things started for the Marauders to make it 1-0, followed by a Midway own goal to put the Marauders up by two.
Trevor Costello then scored on an assist from Logan Plunkett and Will Wolfendale scored on an assist from Kyle Gress.
Marcus will square off with crosstown rival Flower Mound on Tuesday night at Lewisville High School’s Goldsmith Stadium.
