New eateries spicing up Flower Mound's restaurant scene

There will be much more on the menu in Flower Mound as a spate of new dining options is coming to town.

Gloria’s Latin Cuisine is coming to the Highlands Plaza shopping center at the southeast corner of FM 407 and Chinn Chapel Road, according to town officials. Gloria’s will join previously announced restaurants SmashBurger, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and ModMarket.

Centurion American recently announced the addition of three restaurants to the River Walk at Central Park development at the northeast corner of FM 2499 and FM 1171: Sfuzzi, Primo’s Tex Mex Grille, and Parquet Sports Bar.

Earlier this month, San Diego-based Luna Grill: Fresh Mediterranean announced Flower Mound as its first Texas restaurant location. Luna Grill will be located in the River Walk Market and is expected to open this summer

Penn Station East Coast Subs has also chosen Flower Mound as the first of its 18 Texas locations. The sub shop will be located in the Robertson’s Creek shopping center at the southwest corner of FM 2499 and Dixon Road, and is shooting to open in June.

Right next door to Penn Station is the new Frisco-based Starwood Café breakfast and lunch spot that is expected to open in early May.

Salata, The Next Generation Salad Bar, is anticipated to open in June in the old Radio Shack in Robertson’s Creek next to Highland Modern Dentistry.
